In this final chapter of Zechariah, it appears that Jerusalem is finished… then Messiah appears, and in that day, the Day of the Lord, the Lord will go forth and deliver His people (vv. 1-8), and the Lord will reign in the midst of His people (vv. 9-21). Believers are to trust the Lord’s work in His time and thereby invest with hope in the future He is preparing for them.
