Elder

I have been blessed by God to be a member of Bethany Community Fellowship since 2006. In addition to serving as an Elder, I have had the privilege of teaching almost every age group, having been involved in music ministry and discipleship. It has been a blessing to see how the Lord has cared for Bethany through the years, and how the people have grown to love one another.

My wife, Jennifer, and I live in Temperance, Michigan. We have been married since 1981 and are thankful for God’s gift of four children, all of whom have a heart for the Lord. I am thrilled by their interest in missions and concern for the lost. Together they have blessed us with five grandchildren who are a great joy.

I retired from 32 years of teaching as a band director and music teacher, but remain active as a substitute teacher.

God’s Word In My Life

God has been and continues to be faithful to me in many ways. He has added me to His family and forgives my sins every day. Bible verses that are significant to me are John 1:16… “For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace” and Lamentations 3:22-23… “The Lord’s loving kindness indeed never cease, For His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.”

God’s saving grace is fathomless, never ending.

His sustaining grace and daily provision is truly amazing.
